Eastbourne and Lewes (2 March 2014)

Super late but as most of my photography is film not digital posting and uploading will usually be delayed. As of right now I still haven't got any of my pictures from Scotland nor Slovenia developed. I recently (ok in June) have some pictures from my Canterbury pictures to be uploaded very soon.

During my trip to Salisbury, one of my friends, Severine, who also went on the trip suggested we visit Bath some time. We didn't visit Bath... due to train schedules etc, deciding to opt for a trip to Canterbury instead. We intended to go to Canterbury on this date, but there were some train problems (using the buses I think instead of trains) which led to a trip to Eastbourne instead.

Although not exactly England's southern county, East Sussex is known for receiving too much sunshine...basically it's the sunniest county in all of England. According to the Eastbourne railway station (well google can assist with these claims), Eastbourne is the sunniest place in England. Much to this claim, Eastbourne wasn't sunny at all at this day. It was WINDY (I did visit the town later in the year and it was sunny).

We started the day navigating our way through Eastbourne trying to find the pier, with a stopover at a church nearby the train station. Other than our journey to the pier consist of walking through the high street that we didn't pay much attention to, just walking through.

...making our way to the pier...with the weather.

I guess my pictures shows how windy and gloomy the weather was that day at the 'most sunniest town'. Shortly after we decided to have lunch at a pub, the Duke of Devonshire; I had a veggie burger and hot chocolate...the server gave me a wrong order originally - beef burger, but that was fixed. We then continue our day in Eastbourne, with the weather, walking along the seafront (...), wandering around parts of the town, like the neighbourhoods.

Warrior Square
We found a few more churches or old buildings around, but then we decided to leave Eastbourne, return back, but before that visit Lewes for some errands (buying blue tacs lol).
